“That’s a very cool deal with Bob Jewett coming on board for the rest of the season.  I really look forward to being able to promote Blue Gator Tiki Bar for the rest of the year,” Storer said.  “He’s a great guy and him promoting the sport like he does, I think it’s great.

“Me and multiple other racers are able to carry Blue Gator on the cars and I’m looking forward to meeting all of them.  I’m hoping to get to Blue Gator for one of these Inverness (Citrus County Speedway) races, it’s a really cool spot.”

The Blue Gator Tiki Bar & Restaurant is located in Dunnelton, FL and offers great food, ice cold beer and a relaxing tiki bar atmosphere.  Blue Gator is a part of the Angler’s Resort Motel, which also offers boat rentals, airboat tours, and great fishing.

Storer will be making a full run in the Wheel Man Sportsman Series in 2021, just one year removed from leading the series in wins.  While chasing after the championship with the Wheel Man Series, she also hopes to lock down the Auburndale Speedway Sportsman Championship as well.

The Blue Thunder Ride With Brooke Storer

October 23, 2020 – Brooke Storer Motorsports is happy to announce that The Blue Thunder Back The Blue Movement will ride on-board with Brooke Storer at the upcoming High Kick 99 at Citrus County Speedway. The Blue Thunder will work with Storer to help raise awareness for Police Officers and their families that are going through hardship during difficult times as well as their many charitable community events.

“I’m happy to help bring awareness to police officers and their families in these trying times,” said Storer. “These men and women work tirelessly in our community to help people in need and help keep the peace. I think right now we should all rally around our local community heroes and let them know that we offer them support.”

While the Blue Thunder Logo and space on the car will be donated by Brooke Storer Motorsports, the team will be raising funds through voluntary donations to be able to grow the team’s involvement.

“Our goal is to raise enough funds to have a special tribute night, where the car is completely painted in support of Backing the Blue and we’re able to invite police officers and their families out to the track free of charge,” Storer continued.

“We reached out to Brooke and her representatives a few weeks ago with this idea,” said Blue Thunder Manatee/Sarasota Chapter President Peter Jorgensen. “We know the local racing community loves to rally behind our First Responders. I think this is a great way to help get the word out to our community that they’re not alone in believing that and also provide a moment of entertainment for Police and their families as well.”

“We’re excited to start this partnership with Brooke,” said Blue Thunder administrator Scott Krysko. “She has some great ideas on how we can help support our first responders and raise awareness for our charity rides. I can’t wait to see the No.9 on the track next weekend in Inverness.”

Race fans, The Blue Thunder, and supporters of the Back The Blue movement can donate to Brooke’s charitable goal here via paypal: https://www.paypal.com/biz/fund?id=LKY4XFN26FVRE

Be on the lookout for the Blue Thunder Back The Blue No.9 on the racetrack at Citrus County Speedway Saturday October 31st in the Wheel Man Series High Kick 99.

Weekend Recap: Brooke Storer Wins at Citrus County

Brooke Storer Wins at Citrus County Speedway

September 28, 2020 – Brooke Storer wins at Citrus County; and is now a back-to-back winner in the Brandon Ford Wheel Man Series. One week after Storer dominated at 4-17 Southern Speedway, she takes the flag at Citrus County Speedway.

After taking the pole in qualifying, Storer quickly drove through the field, dodging numerous wrecks along the way. She took the lead just after halfway, then dominated the second half of the race. Coming into the final dozen laps, the clutch began to slip. Adam Briggs was able to pass for the lead on a late race restart. Though, when it was all said and done, the trophy was awarded to Brooke in post-race technical inspection.

“I told my team, my dad and Jason (Boyd), on lap one that this was our race to lose,” Storer told Speed51.com in a post race interview. “Even though we were starting twelfth. that thing fired off and I couldn’t have been more happy. I’ve never had such a good race car anywhere I’ve been. So, shout out to those guys. They make it possible for me, York, Air One, Eagle Steel, PFC, Eibach. To be able to park these guys in victory lane and get fast time two weeks in a row is really impressive and I couldn’t be more happy.”

Looking Forward

The No.9 will now go back to the shop and get a full once over as the countdown begins for the High Kick 99.

“I’m excited for the High Kick,” said Storer. “This is absolutely the best race car I’ve ever had. We’re chasing wins, and the High Kick is one of those trophies that’ll look good in my case. We’ll get the clutch issue fixed and get her ready for the biggest race of the year.”

Stay tuned to BrookeStorer.com for updates to Brooke’s schedule over the next several weeks.

Weekend Preview: Wheel Man Series at Citrus County

September 24, 2020 – The Brandon Ford Wheel Man Racing Series season continues this Saturday night at Citrus County Speedway. Brooke Storer and the No.9 crew look to double down and pick up her second victory in back-to-back weeks.

“I’m really excited for this weekend’s race,” said Storer. “We’re coming off of a victory last weekend at 4-17 Southern Speedway where we really showed up the field with some of our new partners on board. I’m looking forward to doing it again this weekend.”

Storer currently sits sixth in overall points with only three races to go in the 2020 Wheel Man Series. Something she’s gunning to overcome in the coming weeks.

“We’re looking to maximize points every weekend from here on out,” Storer continued. “Overall victories, most laps lead, qualifying up front, we want them all, because that’s what it’s going to take to win this championship.”

If you, or your company are looking to support one of the brightest young stars in Short Track Racing as she competes this weekend at Citrus County Speedway, please email Allick Jorgensen. We’ll be happy to get you on the iconic No.9 this weekend.

Weekend Recap: Wheelman Series 50 at 4-17 Southern Speedway

September 21, 2020 – Brooke Storer drove from 13th to first Saturday night, picking up the victory in the Wheel Man Series 50 at 4-17 Southern Speedway. Her first outing with Sponsors Air One Heating and Cooling as well as York Home Comfort.

“It’s great. Starting 13th and coming up to first, and I think taking the lead with 11 to go. The car was great. Jason Boyd did an amazing job, and I couldn’t be happier that York Home Comforts and Air One Heating and Cooling came onboard for this one,” Storer told Speed51.com in her post race interview. “Hopefully we made them proud because that was a tough one that’s for sure. None of these Wheel Man races are easy, but that was one I really had to fight for.”

After picking up her third series victory of 2020, Storer’s engine was taken to be inspected by series officials to ensure it’s integrity.

“Per series rules, my engine was taken to Koury Racing Engines to be inspected,” said Storer. “We actually just got the call that it’s official. The engine passed inspection, and we’re officially the winners of Saturday night’s race.”

Now the race is on to reinstall the engine and get the car ready for this upcoming Saturday’s Wheel Man Series 50 at Citrus County Speedway where Brooke will look to double up and grab her fourth series victory of the 2020 season.
